We are delighted to announce that the 5th International Tourism and Retail Service Management Conference (TRMC2023) will return to Macao S.A.R., China, at the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM), which hosted the inaugural conference in 2018. TRMC has now grown bigger with more consortium members and continues to build on the success of previous conferences in Tianjin (2019) hosted by Nankai University (College of Tourism and Service Management), in Kuala Lumpur (2021) hosted by Sunway University (School of Hospitality and Service Management) and, most recently, Columbia, South Carolina (2022), hosted by College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management, University of South Carolina.
The TRMC Consortium now includes several prestigious global institutions at the leading edge of research and knowledge, focusing on the nexus of tourism and retail services. They are the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management at the University of South Carolina (US), Breda University of Applied Science (The Netherlands), Nankai University (China), Sunway University (Malaysia), and Hangzhou City University (China).
TRMC 2023 welcomes all researchers, graduate students, and industry professionals to join us. We invite submissions for oral presentations on a wide range of tourism and retail service management topics.
The conference welcomes extended abstracts or full papers. Accepted abstracts and full papers will be published in a conference proceeding and scheduled for oral presentation, conditional upon at least one of the submission authors registering on time. Full paper submissions will be eligible for Best Paper Awards and recommended for publication in partner journals, if selected.
